What is VCD Doing?
Our church has the opportunity to partner with CRI to help support a refugee family that is coming from the Ukraine. This is a family of 5: father, mother and 3 sons (ages 14, 18 and 19) who are coming with only a backpack with some clothes on their backs. The plan is to aid the family in setting up their new household when a disaster has taken everything from them.
When this situation was brought to the attention of the women's ministry, we stated that we would like to aid this family in their transition here to the states.
What Can I Do?
We are asking for your help in blessing this family through this transition by providing the many needed items that they will need to get started.

First of all we are asking you to pray for their safe passage here, which should be completed by the end of this week.

Second, we would like you to consider donating any personal or household items that they need, which is everything. To help with this, a google document (click the button below) has been created with an idea of items that will most likely be needed. Feel free to go in and add your name to a specific item you would be willing to donate. If you are unable to edit the document, or are unfamiliar with how to do this, please email Amanda Tabor at arousar88@gmail.com with the information and she will add it to the document.

Donated items can be dropped off at the church on Saturday 5/21 between 2-3pm or Sunday 5/22 until 12n

Most urgently needed items for this week include hygiene products, clothes, bed sheets (3 deep pocket sheet sets & new pillows + cases), and gift cards for food and clothes. If you have a single bed & box spring you'd like to give, please let us know asap.
